Living Mountain School invites youth, ages 4.5-6, to join Teisha for weekly play and learning!  Enjoy scientific discovery, story telling, journalling, artistic expression, and garden exploration. Your studies will include: herbology, earth magic, art, and potions.

Mugworts School of FarmCraft and Discovery is a youth permaculture, gardening, and art program held at Be the Change's urban homestead and permaculture demonstration site.  Participants work together with BTC co-director, Katy Chandler-Isacksen and art teacher Tiesha Bronner. 

Katy Chandler-Isacksen is the co-founder of the Be The Change Project and director of our Edible 'Hood programs.  She is the lead gardener of the urban homestead and neighborhood gardens and has over 13 years teaching experience including as a trained Montessori middle school teacher. 

Teisha Bronner Majewski is a teacher, artist, and the co-founder of Living Mountain School.  She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts at the University of Nevada Las Vegas and Masters in Teaching from Washington State University.   She has taught in Washoe County schools and education programs for five years.
